    Piano accompaniment includes:       
    a huge repertoire of instrumental and vocal music including opera, oratorio, musicals and ballet as well as choral, solo song and instrumental accompaniments. Tim has also recently performed with Ensemble Cymru and the professional orchestra of Mid Wales Opera.  

 

 
    John Pearce, Rhys Meirion, David Kempster, Sioned Terry, Elgan Thomas, Diana Palmerston, Bryn Terfel, David Palmer, Caroline Palmer, Denise Leigh, Día Steinthórsdóttir, Menna Cazel Davies, Jia Ruhan (贾茹涵) John Gough, Arthur Davies, Conal Bembridge-Sayers, Geraint Dodd, Helen Field and leading soloists of Welsh National Opera are among the many celebrated artists he has worked with as pianist in concerts, broadcasts, recordings and competitions.

    Tim was staff accompanist for Bangor University for 10 years and has also been official accompanist for the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and other major music festivals. He is often to be seen playing the piano for candidates for leading music competitions and is always happy to accompany candidates for diploma and grade exams as well as auditions.

Tim is the regular accompanist for the St Peter's Singers (Heswall's Choral Society) and was the pianist for the 1991, 2007 & 2013 National Eisteddfod Choirs as he is for the 2019 Côr y Gamanfa Ganu. He has worked extensively with most of the leading choirs and choral societies in North East Wales including the Denbigh and Mold Choral Societies, the Sirenian Singers, the Hawarden Singers, St Asaph Choral Society, the 4 Counties Youth Choir and Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir.

Tim has a lively solo piano recital programme including substantial works by Bach, Haydn, Hindemith, Gershwin and Percy Grainger as well as lighter items. His piano orchestral repertoire includes 'Pines of Rome', 'Noye's Fludde', Shostakovitch's 5th Symphony and Stravinsky's 'Symphony of Psalms' and as a duo he has long standing partnerships with concert violinist Judith Eastham (Duo d'Amour) & saxophonist Caroline Williams (Con Saxo). He has worked with with professional theatres such as Theatr Clwyd, Mold and has acted as repetiteur for numerous musicals and operas including 'Carmen', 'West Side Story', 'La Traviata', 'Albert Herring', The Bartered Bride' & 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'.

Tim studied piano at Trinity College of Music, London (now Trinity Laban) and holds the LTCL piano recital diploma as well as a BMus Honours degree from Hull University and a Master's degree from Liverpool University.
